ChineseStateCouncilorandForeignMinisterWangYiholdstalkswithTajikForeignMinisterSirojiddinMuhriddinwhovisitedChinatoattendthesecondChina+CentralAsia(C+C5)foreignministersmeetinginXi'an,capitalcityofnorthwestChina'sShaanxiProvince,May11,2021.(Xinhua/WeiXiang)XI'AN,May11(Xinhua)--ChineseStateCouncilorandForeignMinisterWangYionTuesdayheldtalkswithhisTajik,Uzbek,andKyrgyzcounterparts,respectively,inXi'an,capitalofnorthwestChina'sShaanxiProvince.TajikForeignMinisterSirojiddinMuhriddin,UzbekForeignMinisterAbdulazizKamilov,andKyrgyzForeignMinisterChingizAidarbekovareinChinaforthesecondChinaplusCentralAsia(C+C5)foreignministersmeeting.WhilemeetingwithSirojiddinMuhriddin,Wangsaidthatasbrothers,goodneighbors,and"ironfriends,"ChinaandTajikistanshouldearnestlyimplementtheconsensusreachedbythetwoheadsofstate.Thetwosidesshouldcontinueenhancingthe"goldcontent"ofbilateralrelations,consolidatethefoundationofpoliticalmutualtrust,upgradethescaleandqualityofcooperation,andpushChina-Tajikistanrelationsforanewdevelopmentstage.EchoingWang'sremarks,SirojiddinMuhriddinsaidthatTajikistanregardsChinaasitsmostreliablestrategicpartner.TajikistanisreadytoexpandcooperationwithChinaregardingtheBeltandRoad(BR)andwouldcontinuetosupporttheone-Chinaprinciple.DuringhistalkswithAbdulazizKamilov,WangsaidthatChina-Uzbekistanrelationsmaintainasoundandstabledevelopmentmomentum,whichbringsbenefitstothetwopeoples.Hesaidthatasthephonescallbetweenthetwoheadsofstatepointedoutthedirectionforrelationsbetweenthetwocountriesinthepost-epidemicperiod,ChinaiswillingtosharedevelopmentopportunitieswithUzbekistanandexpandgeneralcooperation.AbdulazizKamilovsaidUzbekistanattachesgreatimportancetorelationswithChinaandfullysupportsChinainsafeguardingnationalsovereigntyandterritorialintegrity.UzbekistanhopesthatChinaandUzbekistanwillstrengthencooperationinpovertyreduction,interconnection,combatingthe"threeevilforces,"andjointlypromoteBRconstruction.WangsaidthatthefriendshipbetweenChinaandKyrgyzstanfromgenerationtogenerationisthegeneraltrendandthepeople'swillwhenmeetingwithChingizAidarbekov.HesaidthatChinaiswillingtodoitsbesttoprovidesupportandassistanceforKyrgyzstantoachievestabilityanddevelopment.ChinaisalsowillingtoexpandBRcooperation,promotethedevelopmentstrategiesofthetwocountries,andexpandnewareasandopenupnewprospectsforbilateralcooperation.ChingizAidarbekovsaid,asChina'sgoodneighbor,brother,andpartner,KyrgyzstanfirmlysupportsChinaonXinjiang,HongKong,andTaiwanissues,whichinvolveChina'scoreinterests.Enditem123NextPageLastPage31
